In 2021, I was navigating some major life crossroads. I felt lost and uncertain about my path in life. I had been following some amazing astrologers at the time and they helped me start to unlock the beauty and gifts of my own birth chart. I made the commitment to start to teach myself astrology so I could continue to help myself and others. It brought me so much JOY and PEACE. That was how the seed was planted.
In the summer of 2022, I took my first major leap of faith and consulting the stars helped me do so. It was my nodal return and Saturn was transiting my 10th house of career. I left my teaching career of 14 years and started a new job outside of education. It allowed me more time to learn everything I could about astrology so I could eventually feel ready and able to give readings.
Astrology showed me my cosmic code and provided a sense of clarity I had been searching for my whole life. . It helped me understand my unique gifts, challenges, and purpose. It helps me understand the cycles of change and growth in the universe and in my journey within it.

After teaching myself all I could over the course of 2 years, I decided I wanted to take a course and earn a certificate. In February 2023, I enrolled in Spiritual Astrology School, taught by the inspirational Maxine Luzia, @maxineluzia. After finishing the course and earning my certificate, I felt that I was prepared with the knowledge to give insightful readings to others. I celebrated finishing the course by attending an astrology trip in Italy, hosted by the impressively knowledgeable Alice Bell, @stalkalice. The trip connected me with other astrology lovers and through practice reading some of their charts and their support of my gift, I found the courage to go after the dream I wanted to grow. I launched my business on August 13, 2023 at 4:44 pm. It has a Sag Rising, Leo Sun, and Cancer Moon.
I have always been a life-long learner. My Mercury is in Sagittarius which makes seeking knowledge an insatiable quest of mine. I have a bookshelf dedicated to astrology books and have learned so much from the work of astrologers Chris Brennan, Steven Forest, and Jan Spiller—just to name a few of my favorites. I have a masters degree in Education and I do plan on returning to teaching—just in a different way—someday soon.
A beautiful tree has grown from the seed I planted back in 2021 when I felt so broken but still had hope for something better. I consistently consult the cosmos and the tarot to help my clients unlock the beauty of their birth charts and cocreate with the universe. My learning continues with each new reading I give and through each client I meet. I am so grateful that astrology guided me on my own personal path to fulfillment.
